Course Selection Instructions
1. If your student will have a major and a minor, complete the CCCEPA New Student Course Election Form below (yellow link below).

2a. If your student will not have a minor, band or orchestra, view elective choices (appropriate green link below) to see what PHS has to offer. See full course descriptions on the PHS Course Catalog (purple link below).

2b. Fill out the CCCEPA New Student Election Form (yellow link below) after deciding on elective(s).

3. For current non-CCSD students (only), please initiate a conversation with your student's current academic teachers (ELA, Math, Science and Social Studies) about recommending next year's academic courses. Ask them to complete this academic course recommendation form for your student.

Summer Online Courses

Students have two options to take online classes during the summer: 

  • CObb Virtual Academy

    • 1.0 Credit = $550; ​.5 Credit = $275

    • Deadline to register is May 20th at Noon.

    • First assignment is due week of May 26th.

    • Registration opens April 15th; Course opens April 28th if course is fully registered and paid. 

    • Finals are July 6-8th

  • GeorgiA Virtual Academy

    • 1.0 Credit = $500; .5 Credit = $250

    • Deadline to register is June 5th

    • Course starts June 2nd

    • registration is now open; Course does not open early

    • Finals are July 5-10
